Halls Creek Shire Park
Come Celebrate our Halls Creek Mob!
| The Festival Committee wishes to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of this country and the ancestral spirits of all who have gone before. They are still with us and they keep us strong. We are very pleased to be hosting the second Nguyuru Waaringarrem Music Festival in Halls Creek on Saturday 19 May 2012 from 1pm – 9pm at the Shire Park in Halls Creek. Halls Creek is home to some of Australia’s finest musicians and artists. In addition to showcasing a diverse program of the best Indigenous music talent there will be dancers, workshops and market stalls selling local art and other products. There will also be plenty of delicious healthy eating options and juice and water available from festival stalls. As a special treat famous Indigenous chef Mark Olive will be presenting two workshops in eating healthy using bush tucker. |

Please remember... |
| Entry to the festival is free. Halls Creek has a huge diversity of people from three different indigenous groups and others from all walks of life. Nguyuru Waaringarrem means all together as a big mob which is the philosophy of the Halls Creek Music Festival. The 2012 music festival on Saturday 19 May will be a great chance to bring everyone together and celebrate our unity and all that is great about our town and our community. Importantly the festival promotes community harmony and health. So come along young and the not so young and celebrate our Halls Creek mob. Our thanks go to funding partners Eventscorp, Government of WA Department of Regional Development and Lands, Royalties for Regions, Healthway, Lottery West and local radio station, PRK Radio.
