Olive Knight
Walmajarri woman Oliver Knight says that her earliest recollections of music are of traditional songs sung around the campfire which lulled her into a peaceful sleep. In 2011, Olive released ‘Songs from the Edge of the Desert’ which sees her forging a different path towards gospel and blues. She has been in Canada recently performing with Huge Jackman. Olive is making a special appearance at the festival this year.

Geoffrey Fletcher
Geoffrey Fletcher is truly a legend of Australian country music. He comes from Halls Creek and is now one of the elder statesmen of the original Australia Bush Ballad style.

Originally from Yiyili, this very popular 4-piece band formed in 2007 has gone from strength to strength playing to audiences across WA. The Walkabout Boys have won NAIDOC Battle of the Artists and also many other band competitions. In 2010 they released their debut album ‘You’re the One’. They are a musical force not be missed!
Rode Worx
Popular Wyndham band who perform all over the Kimberley region will delight audiences with their original rock music.
Fitzroy Xpress
Touring and recording country rock Fitzroy Xpress has been taking their great music to audiences up and down the west coast of Australia. The boys from the bush have developed a strong fan base throughout WA and more recently across state borders, winning a Deadly Award for their album ‘Home Sweet Home’.

Join Mark Olive, aka ‘The Black Olive’, in masterclasses in healthy cooking with bush tucker. Learn some new kitchen tricks and have some fun with Mark. Mark Olive has been a chef for over 25 years and has become a well known Australian celebrity with his charismatic style and creative approach to food, starring in his own television series ‘The Outback Cafe’ and a host of cooking, lifestyle and travel shows nationally and globally. Mark’s passion for fusing native food and culture with contemporary lifestyle cooking has also led to a huge international profile, and the creation of Black Olive Catering, an indigenous catering company in North Melbourne, Victoria. Mark appeared on MasterChef, he regularly appears on Network Ten The Circle and he has been published in SBS’s foodie mag Feast Magazine.
